Diversity Week 2020

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is excited  for this year’s campus-wide Diversity Week – Belonging: Connecting Through Crisis – November 16-20, 2020. It will feature a leader panel, keynote address by a local hero and an event honoring the life and legacy of Henrietta Lacks and more!

Belonging is a need. Like water and food, belonging is essential to our well-being. COVID-19 has forced most of us into isolation and separated us from our families, friends, and co-workers. Our connection to each other, our sense of belonging, is our vaccination against isolation. Diversity week is a celebration of all of you, our health care heroes and all the community members who have overcome these challenges, proving that we are stronger together. Please visit the Diversity Week 2020 website to view event details and register!

The week is a collaboration among BJC HealthCare and the Washington University Medical Campus partners – Washington University School of Medicine, the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, and Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College.
