2008 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Lecture

Guest speaker: Angela E. Oh, trial attorney, teacher and public lecturer.

In 1997 she was appointed by President William Jefferson Clinton to the President’s Initiative on Race. Her teaching appointments have been at UCLA School of Law, UCLA Asian American Studies Department, and UC Irvine School of Social Sciences and Political Science. Her current work includes a project on gang-violence prevention strategies for the California State Attorney General’s office and she serves as a trainer on race and gender discrimination for public, private and non-profit organizations.
