Who are the giants in your life that have inspired, assisted, encouraged, or set
an example for your journey into medicine?
The giant in my life who inspired me to pursue medicine is my mother. When she came to the United States, she made a remarkable career change, transitioning from a bank manager to a nurse while raising three children. Growing up, I often flipped through her textbooks, captivated by the pictures and diagrams. Those moments sparked my initial interest in healthcare, and her unwavering support and encouragement helped me set my sights on medicine.
