In honor of Native American Heritage Month we will be hosting t his Perspectives discussion twice!  This event aims to help illuminate a mo re accurate history of our Indigenous/American Indian People in the U.S. co ntext and understand how that history is impacting the present. Knowing tha t diversity\, equity and inclusion work starts with awareness and understan ding\, we will utilize portions of a documentary about the Lakota people to amplify current day voices and experiences within the Native American comm unity.
