 uity. In this role\, Dr. Smedley oversees several initiatives designed to i
 mprove opportunities for good health for people of color and undo the healt
 h consequences of racism. Formerly\, Dr. Smedley was Research Director and 
 co-founder of a communications\, research and policy organization\, the <em
 >Opportunity Agenda</em><strong>\,</strong> where he led the organization’s
  effort to center equity in state and national health reform discussions an
 d to build the national will to expand opportunity for all. To that end\, S
 medley is a co-editor\, along with Alan Jenkins\, of the book\, <em>All Thi
 ngs Being Equal: Instigating Opportunity in an Inequitable Time</em>.</p><p
