 Jones\, MD\, MPH\, PhD is Senior Fellow at the Satcher Health Leadership In
 stitute\, Morehouse School of Medicine\, and Adjunct Associate Professor at
  the Rollins School of Public Health and Department of Community Health and
  Preventive Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine. She is past Presi
 dent of the American Public Health Association. She formerly served as Rese
 arch Director on Social Determinants of Health and Equity in the Division o
 f Adult and Community Health\, National Center for Chronic Disease Preventi
 on and Health Promotion\, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. J
 ones is an internationally known and widely respected family physician and 
 epidemiologist whose work focuses on the impacts of racism on the health an
 d well-being of the nation. She seeks to broaden the national health debate
  to include not only universal access to high quality health care\, but als
 o attention to the social determinants of health\, including poverty\, and
