The Myth of the Thanksgiving Story: Transforming our Relationship to this Beloved Holiday

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

This virtual event is hosted by Washington University School of Medicine, Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, this event aims to deepen our awareness of the truth around the first Thanksgiving and how we grapple with that truth as we continue valued family time and traditions. The discussion will be facilitated around two articles that will be sent to participants when they register.  We will share resources for talking with family and friends about issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as well.
