We are excited to announce the return of the Health Professions Fair in 2023. This year’s program will take place Tuesday, February 7. The Health Professions Fair provides a forum for students from a broad cross section of St. Louis city and county high schools to explore various health related careers. Each year approximately 150 students are selected by their teachers to participate in the fair.
Program outcomes
Participants will:
- Be exposed to diverse health career choices, from medicine, nursing and allied health fields.
- Gain a greater understanding of the academic preparation and time commitment needed to succeed in their desired health career field.
- Pursue formal and informal mentoring programs through networking at the Health Professions Fair.
- Gain a better understanding of the intersection of health professions and the benefits of interprofessional education.
