The Office of Diversity\, Equity and Inclu sion will host the 2019 Academic Medicine Career Development Regional Confe rence November 2 at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. The conference is a program of Building the Next Generation of Academic Phy sicians (BNGAP).
The Conference will be hosted in partnership with th e Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine\, St. Louis University School of Medicine\, Southern Illinois University School o f Medicine\, and the University of Missouri School of Medicine. The Academi c Medicine Regional Conference encourages medical students\, residents\, an d fellows underrepresented in medicine (women\, racial or ethnic minorities \, and the LGBTQIA community) to pursue careers in academic medicine. This inclusive conference is tailored to third year medical students but is also open to all medical students\, resident\, and fellows as well as college/p ost-bacc/PhD students.
