Weill Cornell Medicine – Emergency Medicine Minority Visiting Scholar Program

The New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine Residency program is proud to invite students who are underrepresented in medicine to apply for a sub-internship through the Visiting Clerkship Program (VCP). DiversifiED, the WCM Department of Emergency Medicine diversity committee is sponsoring a grant to offset the costs for an underrepresented in medicine (URiM) medical student to complete this 4-week clinical rotation in Emergency Medicine at NewYork Presbyterian.
Out of state students are eligible for a $2500 stipend to reimburse travel and housing. Students will spend the four weeks, split into two weeks intervals at our Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia Medical Center sites. The sub-internship will take place August 30, 2021 through September 26, 2021.
