Kaiser Permanente – Introduction to Integrated Health Care Program

Deadline: January 25, 2019

The Introduction to Integrated Health Care Program seeks to attract medical student leaders valuing culturally-sensitive care who seek to provide our communities with health care solutions.

Participants will experience an integrated health care system, appreciate population-based health care, use technology in clinical settings, and develop relationships with clinical mentors. Students will receive weekly didactic sessions and shadow The Permanente Medical Group physicians from various clinical settings: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, and several others.

Applications are now open to 1st year medical students that are seeking an opportunity to learn from the largest integrated health care delivery system in California. Students traveling from out of state may receive a travel stipend of up to $3,000 to cover airfare, housing, and local transportation costs.
