Henry Ford Dermotalogy – Visiting Clerkship Scholarship for Underrepresented Minorities in Medicine

The purpose of this clerkship scholarship is to provide underrepresented minority (URM)
medical students the opportunity to complete an away rotation or clerkship in the dermatology
department at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. The definition of underrepresented minorities
will be the same as that recognized by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as
it relates to the U.S. population. This scholarship is for URM medical students who are interested in pursuing a career in dermatology and special consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need.

One scholarship award for the amount of $750 will be available to complete a rotation during
November or December 2019. This funding can be used to cover travel and housing costs.
