Medical College of Wisconsin Diversity Summer Health-Related Research Education Program (DSHREP)
The Office of Student Affairs/Diversity at the Medical College of Wisconsin will again offer our summer enrichment programs for students from backgrounds that are historically underrepresented.
The Diversity Summer Health-related Research Education Program (DSHREP) is a 10-week summer program supported through an R25 research education grant funded by National Heart, Lung, Blood Institute (NHLBI), an agency of National Institutes of Health (NIH). All research is conducted by MCW faculty, focusing on cardiovascular, hematological, and pulmonary diseases.
The program runs from May 31 – August 5, 2016.
The deadline for the DSHREP application is: Friday, February 1, 2016 by 5 pm CST.
I’m excited about our summer programs and want to be sure that everyone who plans to apply, completes the application quickly! If you plan to apply or know someone who might be interested, please encourage them to complete the application as soon as possible to ensure it’s received by the deadline. Also, interested applicants will need two recommendations and an official transcript for a completed application.
